This is a religious place, so you will have to keep your chapel and shoes at the counter near the entry and go inside naked. There are toilets and drinking water near the counter. Ahinsa Sthal in Lado Sarai is one of the most peaceful and underrated places to visit in Delhi. Tucked away along the Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, this serene spot is a breath of fresh air amid the noise and bustle of the city. The main attraction here is the impressive and calming statue of Lord Mahavira, which stands tall in a meditative posture, surrounded by lush greenery and beautifully maintained gardens. The atmosphere is tranquil, making it perfect for a quiet walk, meditation, or simply sitting in peace. The pathways are shaded with trees, the lawns are well kept, and the whole area is very clean. It’s a great spot for families, morning walkers, nature lovers, or anyone looking to unwind in a quiet and green environment. You’ll often hear birds chirping and see squirrels running around—an ideal setting for nature photography as well. What’s nice is that there’s no entry fee and it's generally not crowded, even on weekends. It’s easily accessible by road and not too far from Qutub Minar or Mehrauli Archaeological Park, so it can easily be part of a heritage or spiritual day trip. One thing that could be improved is adding information boards that explain the significance of the place and details about Lord Mahavira’s teachings. That would make the visit more informative, especially for those unfamiliar with Jainism. Overall, Ahinsa Sthal is a quiet and meaningful space that offers peace and reflection—a great place to connect with nature and yourself, right in the middle of South Delhi.

If you're near Qutub Minar then do visit the place. The environment is so serene you'll feel so calm here. It's a religious place so you'll have to go barefoot, you can deposit your shoes at the counter near the entrance at the time of arrival. There is a toilet and water cooler here. You can have a picnic in the park there.
