A nice park with gate 1 and gate 2. We entered through gate 1. There is ample parking inside. This side of the park from gate no 1 is not well maintained. There is a cafe inside and a small Budha temple which is closed. You walk down towards the cafe from gate no 1. It’s not far off . But if you want to just visit the cafe then better enter through gate No 2 , which is a little further from gate no 1 on the main road itself. That side of the park around the cafe is well maintained. Restrooms are also towards gate no 2. Parking is also available. The park is quite green though. Weather permitting you will enjoy an early morning walk .

The park is located in the quieter part of Delhi. There is no Metro connectivity to this park. We had to pick a auto rickshaft from Durga by the smoke Metro station. The park was not crowded when we visited the park at 5:00 p.m. On a Sunday evening. Few families were enjoying a picnic On the lawn's of the park. The main attraction here is the Bal bodhi tree. Otherwise most of the park was deserted. Amenities are all available but unlike other parks in Delhi, this one was not crowded.

I visited Buddha Jayanti Park this morning and it was like a breath of fresh air! As soon as I walked through the gate, I was struck by the stunning Buddha statue - it's so serene and peaceful. I felt like I was transported to a different world. I took a stroll around the park and came across the cutest ducks swimming in the pond. I sat there for a bit, feeding them and watching them play. It was so therapeutic! The cafeteria is also a great spot to grab a snack or drink. I had a lovely cup of tea and a sandwich while enjoying the beautiful views of the Ridge. What I loved most about this park is the sense of calm and tranquility. It's like Lord Buddha's presence is still felt here. I also appreciated the little touches like the cactus garden and the bougainvillea-covered walkway - it shows how much care goes into maintaining this park. I was also fascinated to learn that Lal Bahadur Shastri inaugurated this park in 1964 by planting a sapling of the Holy Bodhi Tree! It's amazing to think about the history and significance of this place. I walked around the perimeter and saw the beautiful Bodhi Tree, which is now grown and thriving. It's a great reminder of the importance of peace and harmony. I'm so glad I visited Buddha Jayanti Park today. It's a hidden gem in Delhi and I'll definitely be back. If you're looking for a peaceful escape, add this to your list!

The greatest hiking location in Delhi. My phone's battery dies, so I can only explore a small part of the area. All set to explore the following weekend. This is my favorite place. The cafeteria by gate number two receives ratings that encourage further exploration. There were lavatories all over the place.

This is not like a park for a family walk. It's very big in the area. Lots of trees and full greenree. But it's also very scary and might be dangerous. You might find Snacks and all harmful species there. One important information is that this park is very comfortable for life adventures with your partner(gf/bf) as I have seen there. πŸ˜‚πŸ‘Œ
