Situated on the banks of the Yamuna River is the Sangharsh Sthal, the Samadhi of Chaudhari Devi Lal, who was a follower of Mahatma Gandhi and was involved in the struggle for Indian independence from the British Raj. Chaudhary Devi Lal was an Indian politician who served as 6th Deputy Prime Minister of India from 1989 to 1991 in the governments of V. P. Singh and Chandra Shekhar.
