Sanjay Park

Good place to go for walk and doing exercise in any time but mostly people go here in the morning and evening. In morning people of old age and people of age of our parents come for exercise. One thing you will find here is soo much greenery. Entry is free here, no closing or opening time you can go any time. You will find mandir inside. People also visit here for worshipping of God. I think entry gate is 3-4. Park is too small. Couples also go here in evening very less. During winter the park looks so bad as everywhere you will see water and muddy water. The worst thing that I don't like of there is everywhere you will find animal waste which spoil mind always.

Crowded, noisy & unhygienic. Also it is the only park in the area so the gathering gets tense. The temple in the corner is a relief for peace & calmness. Badminton court is good for sports enthusiasts.

The ticket vendor is so slow ever you pay online for giving ticket they take so much time we have done boat riding 75/ person but there are some other package the place is not much clean but it is fine to take a walk

Awesome place in Shakarpur, Delhi for people to relax and have some fresh air. Can spend time for recreation and refreshments.

Indian Cities don't have many public spaces / parks. City like Delhi have very few public spaces / parks. Laxminagar is part of Delhi and is very congested. People live in hugging houses that are over the streets, cluttered with wires hanging over your head like anything. So it's a luxury to have a park in front of your house. So it's a park. Not a very well maintained park. But its green and people go there in the morning to have their traditional morning walk. And also near by there is government owned milk booth from which you can purchase "sarkari doodh".
