Shaheedi park

One could spend days walking and soaking in the history of our country here.. while thanking all the people who have toiled hard to make this open air museum a reality! Extremely informative for all generations..makes one meet so many unheard & unsung hero's from past and present. It's a must visit place. Greenery all around makes it a soothing experience. Avoid sunny mornings as heat could make it tough to read and walk. There is a canteen with basic snacks & drinks.

Pathetic experience. Weather was excellent so i decided to visit the museum. First Rs 100 ticket, second so many typos in the information given in the different models/boards, then wrong information especially about ancient Indian science/maths/engineering...no reference was there just false statements, nothing was mentioned about Mughal contribution in history section, so much biased history as if history is being re-written, then no drinking water (they have water for fountains but not to drink), not working water cooler, no complaint register, staff doesn't know email address to file complaint

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Shahidi Park in Delhi holds a special place in my heart due to its profound patriotic significance. The beautifully landscaped surroundings and well-maintained memorial sites pay tribute to their dedication and valor. Walking through the park, I felt a deep sense of respect and gratitude. When waste meets art, magical creations begin. I was amazed to visit Shaheedi Park and see the nut bolts, the metal scraps, discarded automobile parts, engines totally to 250 tonnes of scrap, being upcycled into historical figurines and sculptures of India. This park is a must visit, regardless of age. It's also a classical example of how waste can be reused into art and creativity, highlighting Indian History and Culture that we all should be proud of. Park is in Pathetic Situation. Ticket price is Rs. 100 but basic facility like water is not available there. When we asked at the ticket counter, the person asked us to buy water bottle from outside. Apart from these, there are so much misleading scientific informations provided on the models/photos without citing any proper references. Besides this, there are so many spelling mistakes in Hindi translation.
