If you really asked me, for me this was simply amazing. as I am a nature lover. You cannot compare with one, with the mountains and the real jungle but yes it's a blessing for people living in concrete jungles. It is beautiful ❤️ and perfect picnic spot for family. Friends kids and older people too. If you really wanted to see birds then get zoom lenses or binoculars. Carry water bottles and some snacks as inside after entrance you won't get anything. Parking at your own risk is available at the gate towards sector 16 side or you need to park at okhla bird sanctuary metro station.

One of the best natural escape from the hustle bustle of the city. This place is calm, serene and relaxes you with its tranquility. If you're looking to shoot birds, I recommend to use professional grade cameras here with telescopic lenses as the birds are quite far, mobile camera won't be much useful. The only downside here is the continuous PDA prevalent among couples which can be avoided.

The best place to visit if you feel bored and hopeless. It's a very clean and peaceful place, with a lot of birds in the lake which are from different varieties and different from other species. Yes you will get tired by walking on the long road so there is a bench beside the lake. Yes there is a thik thak public toilet which needs attention to the authority. No vendor is seen in the park so you can carry your food and water bottle with you. If you feel to much tired then you can book the battery rickshaw inside the park 🏞️.

Today I visited the Okhla Bird Sanctuary, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the serene, natural beauty of the area. The sanctuary is well-maintained, with lush greenery, tranquil walking paths, and strategically placed observation points that offer great views of the birds in their natural habitat.

It's good place to be around nature. You need to park your vehicle on Okhla bird sanctuary Metro station parking. Then you can walk or take e-rickshaw to the entry gate. There is another entry from other side which has small parking space for cars and 2 wheelers.
