Introduce

Namaste, Uttar Pradesh residents! In the heart of Noida, a city known for its modern infrastructure and rapid development, lies a landmark that stands as a powerful symbol of social justice, equality, and the inspiring journey of marginalized communities: the Rashtriya Dalit Smarak, popularly known as Ambedkar Park. This sprawling memorial complex is more than just a park; it's a testament to the vision and struggles of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and other revered Dalit leaders who championed the cause of a more equitable society.

Visitors describe it as a place that "Every dalit should visit," highlighting its profound significance to the community it represents. Its sheer scale is impressive, being "spread in a huge area," and its "building structure is also very attractive." The park itself is a "Mesmerizing park surrounded trigonally with greenery and lawns," and its "distinctiveness apart from stereotypical thoughts and visions" makes it a "must visit place for general public to know better about a place dedicated to persons who worked for social justice and concept of equality amongst all."

While its grandeur and purpose are widely acknowledged, some important points regarding its upkeep have been raised. A review notes, "During BSP regim, it was built and well maintained however it appears that current government don't pay attention here anymore. Toilets are in bad shape and so is drinking water as well." Another reiterates this, stating, "The park is very beautiful but is not properly maintained by the authorities. Just beside the park lies Okhla bird sanctuary so one can visit both according to your convinience." Despite these maintenance concerns, the fundamental appeal remains strong. It’s seen as a "nice place with large gardens on all four sides," ideal for "picnic with family and friends." The availability of "Whole lots of food items are available just outside and one can opt for mouthwatering street chats here" adds to its local convenience.

This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and factual overview of Rashtriya Dalit Smarak (Ambedkar Park), helping residents of Uttar Pradesh understand its significance, what to expect during a visit, and why it remains a crucial and informative destination for all.

Rashtriya Dalit Smarak (Ambedkar Park) is strategically located at H896+4GW, Ecity Bioscope Rd, Gautam Buddha Park, Sector 95, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301, India. Its position on the "busy road connecting Noida and Greater Noida to the Yamuna expressway" makes it a prominent landmark and relatively easy to locate. The park's address also places it adjacent to Gautam Buddha Park and notably, "Just beside the park lies Okhla bird sanctuary," offering visitors the convenience of potentially visiting two significant sites in one trip.

Accessibility to Rashtriya Dalit Smarak is quite robust, catering to various modes of transport, which is essential for a major tourist attraction. Mesmerizing park surrounded trigonally with greenery and lawns. The park alongside the busy road and superstructure buildings has it's separate distinctiveness apart from stereotypical thoughts and visions. A must visit place for general public to know better about a place dedicated to persons who worked for social justice and concept of equality amongst all. The park within it's space has facilities like benches, drinking water etc. On less price for entry ticket one may enjoy the nature, infrastructure and statues of Park. It’s a nice place with large gardens on all four sides . One can go for picnic with family and friends . Whole lots of food items are available just outside and one can opt for mouthwatering street chats here. Drinking water facility is available. But issue is there with washrooms as only one is operational in such a big park . The park is very beautiful but is not properly maintained by the authorities. Just beside the park lies Okhla bird sanctuary so one can visit both according to their convinience.

This place is contributed to Bhimrao Ambedkar. This Memorial and development work continued until 2002–03. In 2007, the park underwent further renovation and development. It was initially opened to the public on 14 April 2008 by Chief Minister Mayawati. The entire memorial is built using red sandstone brought from Rajasthan. This place is opened for general public for all days of the week but closed on Tuesday.

This place is situated opposite to sector-16 film City, Noida. There is no direct connectivity of metro or e-rickshaw. You have to come by your own vehicle. I went there on a 2 wheeler. The parking is available without any charges. Don't know about the 4 wheeler. The entry ticket for the park is 25rs. Per person. Surprisingly, there is no mode of cashless payment. You have to pay in cash only. There is few food items sold outside the park. Talking about the park it's comparatively very minimal in size to what we have in LUCKNOW. Somehow, it's pretty much crowded. The main attraction of this park is the statue of MAYAWATI & KASHI RAM. There are facilities of drinking water & seating. You can click photo's and make videos 📸 Overall if you want to spend some time with your friends & family. You can come here. Hope this review will help 😊
